Work Study Programs
Duke Work-Study
Duke Work-Study is awarded to those students who are not eligible for federal aid, but do qualify for some institutional aid programs. Students who have received Duke Work-Study may utilize their allocation by working on campus with a Duke department or off campus with a participating non-profit agency.
The Duke Work-Study Program subsidizes 50 percent of student earnings with participating employers.
Federal Work-Study
The Federal Work-Study Program may be awarded to undergraduate and graduate and professional students as part of their financial aid package. Students who have received a federal work-study allocation may choose to work on campus, or off campus with America Reads, or America Counts, or with a participating non-profit agency.
The Federal Work-Study Program will subsidize 75% of a student's earnings for participating employers.
