First-time Borrowers

  1. Choose a PLUS Lender
  2. Complete your PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note online at the lender website.


Repeat Borrowers

  1. Complete approval process with PLUS Lender either by phone or web.

Note: During the application process a credit check will be conducted, but there are no income or collateral requirements.


How to Apply (Grad/PLUS)

First-Time Borrowers

  1. Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  2. Choose a PLUS Lender and complete Grad/PLUS Entrance Counseling
  3. Complete the Grad/PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note online at Lender’s website


Repeat Borrowers

  1. Complete approval process with PLUS Lender either by phone or web.
